As of May 2021, Marion Correctional has a new face in the
Warden’s Office, Leon Hill.
Warden Hill attended Southern State Community College and
Franklin University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Correctional
Administration.
Warden Hill began his DRC career as a Lieutenant in 1999,
moving to the position of Operations Administrator with the Department of Youth
Services in 2004. Returning to DRC in
2007, he held the positions of Captain, Labor Relations Manager, and Major
before being named the Deputy Warden of Operations at the Ohio Reformatory for
Women in Marysville in 2015.
Warden Hill replaced Lynneal Wainright, who moved to a
position in the DRC Office of Reentry.
