Lyneal Wainwright was announced as the new Warden of the Marion Correctional Institution in September 2016.  She started her career with DRC in 1999 at Richland Correctional Institution as an Activities Administrator.  During her career Ms. Wainwright also held positions at Mansfield Correctional and North Central Correctional prior to this appointment.  Those positions included Unit Manager, Unit Management Administrator, and Deputy Warden.

Ms. Wainwright graduated from the University of Toledo for both Bachelor and Master of Education degrees.  She is also a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor.
